Passenger Transport Framework Agreement

Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for Ground Investigation Works

Transport Scotland, on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, has identified the need for specialist Ground Investigation (GI) works to support the delivery of infrastructure projects.The procurement comprises the establishment of a Multi-supplier Framework Agreement (MSFA) with a number of ground investigation contractors to carry out and report on GI works of varying scope, complexity and value in connection with trunk road and other transport infrastructure schemes promoted by the Scottish Ministers through Transport Scotland. Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Waste Metal acceptance and recycling services. The City of Edinburgh Council intend to establish a single Lot Framework Agreement for the provision of Funeral Services under the terms of Section 87 of the Burial and Cremation Act (Scotland) 2016. This will include provision of funeral services, transport and storage of the deceased. In terms of Section 87 of the Burial and Cremation Act (Scotland) 2016, the Council has a duty to make funeral arrangements for any person who dies or is found dead within the Local Authority area where no other Local Authority is liable to make those arrangements and where no other person has come forward to make a suitable funeral arrangement for the deceased.This Framework Agreement will be primarily used by the City of Edinburgh Council, but Midlothian Council may also use this Framework Agreement.

CWM Environmental Ltd requires a Contractor to provide CWM Environmental Ltd with a fire suppression system for its MRF facilities at its Nantycaws site. The contract price is to include the costs of supply, building, transport, testing and commissioning. This is an open tender process to identify a provider for a reliable service for the supply of transport for school meals to schools that do not have adequate kitchen facilities to prepare and cook a compliant school meal, which represents value for money.Twelve15 are a department of Surrey County Council who provide school meals to Surrey schools and some nurseries. Whilst most schools have a kitchen facility, some do not and rely on nearby schools with adequate facilities to prepare and cook the school lunch.Twelve15 has a binding agreement with 18 school settings that do not have adequate facilities to prepare and cook a school meal that meets the Government School Food Standards. There is a requirement in each of these settings to provide a transported school meal service from another school.

TT0019 - Education Taxi and Minibus Framework

The purpose of this invitation to tender is to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of transport services principally for the conveyance of children and young people to schools and other educational establishments (these requirements may also include transport to and from out of school clubs and transport to training) for all of Fife. The Framework may also be used to provide replacement transport services where roadworks prevent a local bus service from serving its normal route and could be used for the provision of other transport services for Fife Council, for example the delivery of school meals.Contracts operated through this Framework can generally be undertaken by taxis, private hire cars and minibuses (with up to 22 passenger seats). There is a requirement for some vehicles to be capable of carrying passengers in wheelchairs (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV)).PLEASE NOTE that 2A.18 of the SPD requires the list of Lots applied for. Green Hydrogen for Hydrogen Bus Pilot Scheme

The Welsh Government, in partnership with Transport for Wales, are establishing a Hydrogen Bus Pilot Scheme as part of their plans totransition the existing internal combustion engine bus fleet in Wales.The Pilot Scheme will include the implementation of approximately 20 hydrogen buses on selected routes within the County of Swansea with a further 23 hydrogen buses servicing selected routes within the County of Bridgend.The Pilot Scheme is due to commence approximately late 2025/early 2026 (date to be confirmed).The Welsh Government are seeking to appoint a provider of green hydrogen that will provide the required level of hydrogen to fuel the hydrogen buses utilised under the Pilot Scheme. It is an expectation that the hydrogen will be made available for a re-fueller at both pilotlocations; Swansea and Bridgend.The hydrogen contract will be for 15 years, with break clauses at years 5 and 10.

Lift Maintenance

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has numerous vertical transport installations in various premises throughout their campuses. The University is conducting a 2 stage Procurement process to select a supplier to provide maintenance services to some or all of the vertical transport installations. The University’s objectives are to maintain a high level of reliability and availability of its units by operating a system of planned preventative maintenance with response to call outs and call backs/breakdowns maintained at agreed performance levels.

The Council are seeking framework partners to provide a range of services to take schemes through the various feasibility and development stages leading up to the point of securing funding, appointment of a developer and/or detailed design and implementation. It is noted that the Council has limited land ownership and therefore the work will require collaboration with private landowners and key stakeholders. Hence, the introduction of pedestrian tugs onto the Blood Donation teams is seen as a <br/>key piece of equipment to help reduce manual handling risk as it reduces the physical pushing/pulling of cages. <br/>The purpose of this document is to provide an outline specification for the initial purchase of 52 battery-operated <br/>pedestrian tugs for use on Blood Donation mobile teams. Including the ongoing maintenance and repair of the <br/>pedestrian tugs for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further two options of one year, <br/>bringing the contract duration to 5 years. <br/>NHSBT has circa 52 mobile teams who travel to different venues, in various locations within England, to collect <br/>blood component donations from donors. This involves transporting all equipment and consumables required to <br/>collect the target number of donations, from the team base to the scheduled venue. The longest journey time <br/>from team base to venue is approximately 2 hours. The teams transport the critical equipment and consumables <br/>needed to collect component donations in roll cages. The primary requirement of the Service is for the Contractor to safely collect Contract Waste from the Waste Collection Points and transport the same to their authorised Nominated Waste Disposal Points for disposal.Leachate effluent at the Waste Collection Points may be contained within a leachate holding lagoon or in a storage tank.The Contractor may choose, at no extra cost to the Authority, to temporarily store the collected leachate effluent at an authorised storage facility until such time when the Contractor is able to transport the waste to an authorised disposal facility.The Service also entails cleaning out settling lagoons at locations indicated in the Specification. This involves the removal of leachate from the lagoons, removal of debris and sediments and their subsequent disposal at authorised disposal facilities.

CVLR City Centre First Contractor

Coventry City Council ("the Council") has been and will continue to develop the living and working environment within Coventry through a series of programmes that improve the transport infrastructure to attract inward investment and drive the transition from fossil fuel transport to sustainable transportation solutions.One key project in this drive for modal shift is the Coventry Very Light Rail (VLR) project. This project is to develop a VLR product that can be manufactured predominantly in the West Midlands that will drive modal shift within small to medium size urban environments, consistent with many cities within the UK where a standard tram system would not be economically feasible.This system will be a low capital cost for installation and will be environmentally clean at the point of use, which will have a positive impact on air quality, this modal shift is designed to reduce congestion, and as a result, open up the city for investment especially along the route. Following the procurement and delivery of Coventry Very Light Rail (CVLR) test tracks at locations in Whitley, Coventry (TP1) and Dudley (TP2); the Council is preparing to deliver the next project stage of delivering a City Centre First demonstrator. City Centre First will be a test track facility constructed in a live environment and will be made up of a combination of single track and double track lengths. The purpose of the City Centre First is to prove the assertions made during the development phase of the track form in the real-world environment.
