New Museum Project - Past Time and Our Time Gallery: Large and Complex Object Mounts

The Large and Complex Object Contractor will be directly responsible for, but not limited to, the following:1. Contractor Design Portion (CDP) of the Object mounts2. Tram Replacement Rolling Stock Programme

The type CR4000 trams on the Croydon Trams network are approaching the end of their design life and Transport for London (TfL) intends to replace them with a new fleet pursuant to this procurement.TfL intends to procure 24 new trams and associated technical support and spares supply to enable TfL to maintain the new fleet at its Therapia Lane Depot for the duration of its 30 year design life. Legible London is a map-based, street-level pedestrian information system that encourages people to walk. It was developed by TfL with the support of the London Boroughs and aims to promote walking by tackling a key barrier: the lack of clear and consistent on-street wayfinding information. The programme comprises an integrated signing and mapping system, which incorporates local identity and branding throughout the Capital.The contract shall be for the provision of:1. The manufacture and supply of Legible London products, including the production of replacement signs, panels and map refreshes;2. The installation of Legible London products, including necessary procedures for groundworks and permissions (including responsibility for required permits, consents and licenses);3. The reactive maintenance/making safe and installation of replacement parts and map refreshes of the Legible London wayfinding system;4. Automated Large-Scale Ultra-Low Temperature Biological Sample Archive

UKB is seeking a supplier that can provide a new Archive (taking responsibility for design, manufacture, installation, testing, commissioning and training), the provision of related IT systems, maintenance and other support services.The Archive will be installed on the ground floor of a new UKB facility in the City of Manchester, UK (the ‘Facility’). Main construction will start in early 2024, and UKB and the Archive supplier will have early access to the ground floor for installation of the Archive in April 2025. Facility practical completion is planned by early 2026. The Archive will need to satisfy Factory and Site Acceptance Tests, including Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification (as set out in the contract provided as part of the procurement documents). The Supplier will take responsibility for the successful integration of the Archive to the Facility. The Archive may consist of one or more separate modules, and such modules may be delivered in phases. Following satisfaction of Operational Qualification, UKB will load 11 million samples from its existing facility and be responsible for the operation of the Archive.Funding to support purchase of the Archive and development of the Facility has been budgeted by UKRI, and announced by both UKRI, and HM Treasury. Release of funding will be subject to approval of a full business case by HM Treasury, expected in December 2023.The Archive must have sufficient capacity to accommodate 20 million samples (with expansion to 30 million samples if required by UKB during the contract) and design requirements will include spatial efficiency, fit with the Facility design, sample storage temperatures and environmental efficiency. The Archive must be electrically cooled to preserve samples at ultra-low temperature and ultra-dry humidity (minus 80 degrees C) with dual redundancy, with backup cooling provided by a supply of liquid nitrogen. The Archive must use 96-position SBS-format racks, be compatible with UKB’s current and future labware and have resilient robotic automation for picking and returning samples and sufficient throughput to meet UKB’s sample processing requirements (retrievals of up to 500,000+ samples combined with smaller requests, daily loading of new samples, return of retrieved samples after laboratory processing and consolidation (defragmentation) of empty spaces). The Archive will need to be capable of handling biological samples that have a thin layer of frosting or more significant icing that may obscure barcodes, and raised septum seal bungs.The IT system (all hardware, software and management components required to support the operation and management of the Archive) must be provided by the supplier. The University of Huddersfield intends to appoint a supplier to provide metasurfaces as per the specification, for an extended period of time.These metasurfaces will be designed to act as optical components in a variety of optical metrology instruments that are currently under development. The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) will use the Donor Identification Number(DIN) Barcode labels during the collection, manufacture and storage of blood, blood components, tissues and cells donations.Each DIN barcode label set will be used to uniquely reference each donation of blood, tissues and cells and associated samples for testing.SNBTS also provide DIN labels to the NHS-Assisted reproductive centres in Scotland to be used in the collection, manufacture, labelling and cryopreservation of reproductive cell donations.There is the potential that the introduction of plasma for medicines collections will increase the requirement for DIN barcode labels during the period of the contract. 3-axis & 5-axis CNC Mill

JUNO System: • The Core Contract, constitutes a JUNO solution, envisioned as an Electro-Optical imaging satellite that the Supplier shall operate. To deliver the system, a full end-to-end solution, with adequate pan-Defence Lines of Development (DLOD) coverage, is required including inter alia; design, development, manufacture, assembly, integration, test, launch, commissioning, operations and, support to experimentation.. • Secondary Payload Options, constitutes the same JUNO solution with additional satellite payload opportunities that consider at least one of the following: o Application of the Primary Electro-Optical Imaging Payload to Space Domain Awareness (SDA) collection taskings, such that the EO imager can be used for non-Earth pointing image collection tasks, whilst always maintaining primary payload integrity. o Space Domain Awareness (SDA) hosted payloads, where additional sensors that provide SDA mission data could be incorporated onto the space-craft to enable the Juno satellite to conduct a multi-mission approach to data collection from space. o RF Inter-satellite Links to GEO, where the Juno Core Contract solution is enhanced by the ability to link to the satellite via agreed Geostationary Orbit space based assets, to support Out Of Area satellite command and control, and payload data handling. o On-Board Processing (OBP), providing enhanced high fidelity on-board image processing, with target oriented machine learning image exploitation, enabling in-situ processing of captured imagery, prior to image downlinking to the agreed ground station network. • Maintained Operations Option, constitutes a time extension of the period where the Supplier operates the JUNO solution from the Core Contract and completes mission operations beyond the timeframe covered in the Core Contract. • Concurrent Ground Segment Options, constitutes the same JUNO solution from the Core Contract but with the system integrated with the elements of the ISTARI MOD ground architecture that are sufficiently mature to be utilised together. NHSBT has a requirement for sterile, pharmaceutical grade plastic vials and consumables compatible with an Aseptic Technologies Filling Line located within the classified clean rooms. The CBC has an MHRA licence for the manufacture of sterile investigational medicinal gene therapy, recombinant protein products and recombinant viral vectors for clinical trials. HS2 Ltd intends to procure the design, manufacture, supply, testing and commissioning and training of operatives of 40 Motorised Fire Trolleys (MFT’s) as part of the Railway Systems packages of Works.
