Transport Scotland has announced the four shortlisted contractors on the Dalry bypass project are:
- Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering
- Farrans Construction/Roadbridge
- Interserve Construction
- John Paul Construction/Somague Engenharia
The contract for the 4km Dalry Bypass is estimated to be worth between
£34m and £38m. The scope of the project includes the construction of the new bypass and associated junctions to connect to the existing A737 trunk road.
The announcement of the shortlisted candidates was described by the SNP Minister for Transport and Islands as marking “another significant milestone for the Dalry Bypass. It ensures we remain on schedule for works to start on this critical infrastructure project by the end of March 2017.”
