The Contract will be monitored to ensure that high quality services are provided and targets are achieved at all times. The Council shall be responsible for promoting the service, educating customers and acting as first point of contact for Customer requests and complaints. The Council will administer all complaints and requests for service and liaise with the Contractor regarding resolution. 1.3.7 The Contractor is expected to provide all reasonable information to the Council, in relation to contamination and participation, in order to inform engagement and communication activities and maximise the quality and volume of materials captured. The Contract will operate an equal revenue sharing scheme in relation to the sale of the dry recyclables. Any changes to the Service, whether requested by the Council or the Contractor, will be negotiated and agreed via the Authorised Officer. The Council wishes to ensure a high level of co-operation with the Contractor in order to jointly deliver the most effective Service possible.

CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) operates a fleet of 33 vessels running to over 50 ports and harbours throughout the Scottish West Coast and Islands.Each vessel undergoes annual maintenance and overhaul, as a result of this the company is required to import items such as mechanical spares , components and machinery. In rare circumstances CFL is required to export components to manufacturers located in mainland Europe.Due to the nature of our operations, CFL requires to enter into Agreement with a supplier that can provide a re-active and fast-paced service which includes out-of-hours support.At a high-level, CalMac is seeking the following services:- Upon receiving the appropriate shipping documentation from CFL, the supplier will investigate and prepare necessary freight quotations based on requirements (courier, road freight, air freight, sea freight, urgent dedicated vehicle). This could include providing multiple options for CFL’s review.- Once confirmation and instructions have been provided by CFL, the supplier will be required to progress a collection and delivery, they will liaise with the freight forwarder of choice to organise collection and provide any necessary documentation (e.g. AWB, Bill of Lading etc). At this point, the supplier will advise of any missing documentation that could hold up delivery.- CFL will issue customs clearance instructions that the supplier will then use in line with the CDS system to ensure smooth delivery and no issues with customs clearance.-The supplier will ensure that end to end delivery is made to the destination of choice and keep CFL updated on any issues that need to be resolved (e.g. missed collections, missing documentation).- The provider will then invoice accordingly ensuring that the PO number is listed on the invoice.- The provide must also provide access to Management Reporting data to enable identification of trends which will be discussed with a CFL Contract Manager. The fleet of UK Air Defence (AD) Radars are installed strategically around the UK and provide the Recognised Air Picture (RAP) enabling UK air defence system to identify non-cooperative targets within the UK area of interest, enabling the Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) in support to National Security Objective 1 (NSO1). Each of the future offshore windfarms will have a unique, detrimental impact upon the RAP as they will reduce the volume of air space that the AD radars can effectively survey, reducing the MOD’s ability to deliver its tasks under NSO1.Programme NJORD (herein referred to as NJORD) has been established in response to a need for capabilities that will mitigate the negative impact introduced by offshore windfarms and maintain, the RAP at its full capability as established prior to the introduction of offshore windfarms. NJORD is an RAF programme with the procurement activity and contract management, through life for the capability / capabilities, being managed by the Air Defence and Electronic Warfare Systems (ADEWS) Delivery Team (DT) within Defence Equipment & Support as the RAF’s delivery agent. The Contractor must ensure that all relevant Road Traffic Orders, Regulations and other Statutory Provisions, are adhered to by all parties engaged in the delivery of any services under this Contract. The UK Government has set its ambition to deliver 50Gw of green energy by 2030 delivered by numerous offshore windfarms that shall be built and commissioned during a rolling programme of works from 2025 and beyond. The fleet of UK Air Defence (AD) Radars are installed strategically around the UK and provide the Recognised Air Picture (RAP) enabling UK air defence system to identify non-cooperative targets within the UK area of interest, enabling the Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) in support to National Security Objective 1 (NSO1). Each of the future offshore windfarms will have a unique, detrimental impact upon the RAP as they will reduce the volume of air space that the AD radars can effectively survey, reducing the MOD’s ability to deliver its tasks under NSO1.Programme NJORD (herein referred to as NJORD) has been established in response to a need for capabilities that will mitigate the negative impact introduced by offshore windfarms and maintain, the RAP at its full capability as established prior to the introduction of offshore windfarms. NJORD is an RAF programme with the procurement activity and contract management, through life for the capability / capabilities, being managed by the Air Defence and Electronic Warfare Systems (ADEWS) Delivery Team (DT) within Defence Equipment & Support as the RAF’s delivery agent. To achieve this, NJORD shall focus on ensuring the continued Primary Surveillance capability currently provided by the RAF’s air defence remote radar heads which would otherwise be degraded by offshore windfarms.
