Thornton & Lowe is pleased to announce that our head office has moved to The Wellsprings, the flagship innovation hub in the heart of Bolton town centre.

Located next to Bolton Town Hall, The Wellsprings is a newly completed, £11m redevelopment that has transformed a former office block into flexible, modern workspace for growing businesses. Developed by Bolton Council with support from the Government’s Towns Fund and UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the building is designed to encourage collaboration, creativity and business growth.

A workspace that matches our ambitions

As a bid management and tender writing consultancy supporting clients across the UK, we need a workspace that can keep pace with our own growth. The Wellsprings provides exactly that. It offers dedicated offices, coworking areas and meeting rooms, all set within a bright, contemporary environment that has been purpose built for creative and tech-focused businesses.

For our team, that means:

  • High-quality office space in Bolton’s historic town centre

  • Modern meeting and collaboration areas for workshops and training

  • Excellent transport links and nearby parking for colleagues and visitors

Investing in Bolton's businesses

Thornton & Lowe has been headquartered in Bolton for many years, and our move into The Wellsprings reinforces our commitment to the town and its business community. Being part of this innovation hub places us alongside other growing organisations and start-ups, creating more opportunities to share knowledge and support local businesses as they compete for public and private sector contracts.

We are looking forward to welcoming clients, partners and associates into the new space as we continue to help organisations across the UK to write stronger bids and win more contracts.

Managing Director, Tom Sander-Daniel said that the business had moved in after already having been based in Bolton and that there were excited to be in the town centre.

He said: “Obviously our heart is in Bolton, our centre is in Bolton, and we want Bolton to succeed as a town in terms of business and commerce.”
