We frequently are asked "How long does it take to complete a tender?". It's a difficult question to put a finite answer on. This week, we worked on a tender that had 2 writers working flat out to complete - due to the size and complexity of the tender. Another writer has been able to work on 2 tenders in the same period as they were much shorter.
We have worked on tenders that have 4 questions with word counts of 500 words per question. We have also been involved with tenders that had over 50 questions with unlimited word counts! Goes to show that there really is quite a variance in terms of length to complete.
Regardless of the size, always always make sure that you plan enough time to complete and review your tender in plenty of time prior to submission.
