Thornton & Lowe are pleased to announce that we have just launched a brand-new training coursecovering all aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Values, and Sustainability.
These are words which can often create a feeling of uncertainty and which normally are associated with large multi-national organisations. We are seeing more and more now, these topics popping up in tenders, with one buyer even placing a minimum of 10% of the overall score of a bid into this very area!
An important topic for discussion, but the concept of corporate social responsibility is certainly not a new topic. It’s just one in which we are hearing more and more about as businesses look to be perceived by the public as making a notable difference within this area.
CSR refers to the effort businesses must make in order to work with stakeholders in achieving enhanced economic, environmental and social performance.
More people are seeking training in CSR to give them the skills and knowledge they need to be able to critically evaluate corporate responsibility and business ethic issues relative to a range of management disciplines, industries, and external environment and then apply this within their tenders and bid writing.
This is massively important in the world of bid writingand bid tenders, showing you understand why corporate social responsibility is important in particularly the private sectors and being able to develop the components of a CSR action plan for their own organisations as well as for those they are bid writing for will encourage a broader acceptance of CSR as a vital component of the tendering process.
We have worked closely with our own expert in Corporate Social Responsibility to provide you with the guidance and tools to help develop, improve and maintain your own approach through our specifically designed training course.
A MUST training course for bid writers, bid managers and bid directors who are looking to cement their understanding of corporate social responsibility, align this with your business and include this within your tenders.
Presently we have two courses scheduled on our training calendar, one course will take place in London on the 26th September 2017 at 9.30pm till 4 pm. The second course will be Manchester based and will take place the day after on the 27th September 2017, 9.30am till 4 pm.
We do have limited places available on both these courses, interest is high because corporate social responsibility is such a key topic at the moment and with this in mind, we do strongly recommend if you would like a place on the course then book now to avoid any disappointment.
