What Makes a DPS Different?
Unlike a traditional closed framework, a DPS remains open throughout its life. Suppliers can apply to join at any point, and buyers issue call-offs to registered suppliers as and when requirements arise. This means there's no single "bid window". It also means, however, that the sooner you're registered, the more call-off opportunities you can access. Being on the DPS doesn't guarantee work; it qualifies you to compete for it.
