Thornton & Lowe was founded in 2009 to help organisations win more formal contract opportunities through the provisions of bid consultancy, training and support. Due to business expansion and demand from our larger clients we have invested and developed a bid recruitment division.

Thornton & Lowe has a wealth of experience in the recruitment, utilities and transport industries, in both the public and private sector.

We have found that some organisations, such as those involved in construction, civil engineering, nuclear, IT, oil and gas, for example, largely need bid writing and management capacity rather than a fully managed bid solution, which is the core business of Thornton & Lowe. Ideally these clients want individuals based at their offices from anything from a few weeks upwards or require support sourcing permanent members of their team.
