Find & Win the 'Right' Public Sector Frameworks
Public sector frameworks can be complex. With hundreds of live frameworks available, choosing the right one for your business is not always an easy decision. At Thornton & Lowe, we specialise in consultancy and support for frameworks, guiding you through the shortlisting, application, and bidding process. We also provide post-framework support to maximise the framework as a sales tool for your business.
What Is a Government Framework Agreement?
A government framework agreement is a pre-approved route used by public sector buyers - like councils, the NHS, and central government, to purchase goods and services from selected suppliers. These agreements reduce procurement time, improve compliance, and offer suppliers access to regular contract opportunities.
Being listed on a framework doesn’t guarantee work, but it puts you in the best position to compete - often through mini competitions for contracts that are only available to framework-approved suppliers. This includes public procurement frameworks such as those run by Crown Commercial Service (CCS), NHS Shared Business Services, and local authorities.
If you're unsure where to begin, we’ll help you identify the most relevant frameworks, prepare your application, and make sure you're in the strongest possible position to win work once you're on.
