We worked with the client for over 2 years, writing and developing a significant number of bids (PQQs and ITTs) for various organisations across both the public and private sectors. We were engaged with developing the response to a tender for a large university in the North West.
For the duration of the bid we provided the following:
- Bid Manager
- Senior Bid Writer
- Bid Writer
- Graphic designer
Although the client was well-established and local to their potential customer, they had little direct experience in the university sector. We also needed to manage the bid around the availability with our client’s main point of contact.
We worked with the client’s Business Development Manager to co-ordinate the bid. We established their availability and planned the bid around them. Although we already had a significant amount of information about the client, we needed to develop bid specific information.
As our point of contact was unavailable at specific times, we developed a bespoke
communication plan to include how we obtained key information effectively. We also investigated the client’s portfolio of customers and reflected the information to best reflect the requirements of the bid.
We also involved our in-house Graphic Designer to produce a professionally designed bid. This involved developing a concept based on the client’s own branding and incorporating professional looking photographs from the client.
The client attended a post-ITT interview and was successfully awarded on to the Framework.
