We were engaged with the client to provide support with a £15million contract that was moving from a multi-supplier contract to a single supplier arrangement.
For the duration of the bid we provided the following:
- Bid Manager
- Senior Bid Writer
- Bid Writer
- Graphic Designer
We provided Bid Writing support, as well as additional input and advice on the presentation of the bid. We also provided guidance on the post-ITT interview.
We arranged as series of meetings with the client at key stages throughout the process. We also accommodated meetings at short notice with the Managing Director to discuss the approach and potential win themes.
Our client was a small local business who was already part of the existing service. The other providers included large national companies such as Mitie and ISS. The client considered that the large organisations were a significant risk to the potential success of the bid.
By working closely with key members of the client’s organisation, including the Managing Director, the Operations Director and the Account Manager. Based on the client’s awareness and knowledge of the customer and competition, we developed a compelling bid with some excellent win themes. These included providing a genuine time and cost saving to the buyer, as well as offering a more personalised service. We developed and designed a brief Executive Summary to accompany the bid.
The client was successful with the bid and was invited to a post-bid interview, after which they were awarded the contract.
